I believe that (mobile) widgets are the future.

It seems weird that as everything is moving towards the “cloud” apple are encouraraging us to use installed applications on the iPhone. Is device specific installed apps the way to go? Maybe the iPhone app phenomenum will be short llived.

Here’s an interesting alternative to reach the huge number of people who don’t have an iPhone.
